#8 is The Doctor's eighth incarnation who only ever appeared in a television film but has resurfaced through spinoff media, notably novels, audio plays and comic strips, continuing to do so to this very day. The audio plays can be used as alternatives to the television film for example; for Their Favorite Eighth Doctor story they could not just use the TV Movie but one of the audio plays, mine for instance would be The Sword of Orion, ''"Cybermen, they were humanoid creatures much like you once but their civilization developed the penchant for cybernetically improving upon the weaknesses of the flesh. They turned the burning light of their technology on something they felt was holding them back, emotions, some say they surgically removed their souls. And now well let's just say they suffer from something of a superiority complex, they won't rest until they've cybernetically converted every sentient being''. Novels and comic strips could also be used but the audio plays are far more appropriate. That's all folks! For rabbits that is.
