Thaur was a giant viking warrior from the planet Norsum. He was one of the three that were banished from their homeworld by Queen Angboda and abandoned on primitive planets. Thaur was exiled to the planet Earth. With the unwitting aid of the Doctor, Thaur was able to free and reunite with his fellow warriors (DWBIT: Wrath of the Warrior)
