- Dry Springs is not a real town in Nevada, according to current postal code records. Nor is its implied location relative to Area 51 realistic. The editing of Dreamland seems to imply that Dry Springs is close to Roswell — an easy trip for Cassie and Jimmy to make by truck. But if we accept the real-life position of Roswell, and we assume that Dry Springs is on the easternmost edge of Nevada, the two towns would still be hundreds of miles apart. Roswell is much closer to Texas than Nevada.
