Tom Flanagan was evacuated to Cardiff at the age of 8, during the London Blitz in 1941. His mother and sister died during the war, so he never returned to London. Due to a paper error he wasnt picked up with the other children and was acsidently left overnight on his own in the train station. He was eventually picked up when the error was discovered to his great relief because he felt has if he had been abandonned. His fear and helplessness was so strong the ghost device could still read it even after the War was long over. (TW: Ghost Machine)
