Merge/doc can be used when there is valid information on a page that otherwise should be deleted. The editor who places this template on a page can suggest another page where some or all the information can be placed.

Usage

To use, copy or type the following at the top of the page that needs to be merged (removing the reasons and adding your own):

{{merge|article to merge into|reason for merger}}

Do not put the article you propose to merge in brackets; the template will automatically link to it.
