Alison Bingeman co-wrote the novelisation of The Celestial Toymaker with Gerry Davis. She has the distinction of being one of only three authors credited on a Target Book who had not either written a story for the TV series or had been a part of the production team (the others being Nigel Robinson and John Peel).
