Welcome to the TARDIS Index File, the Doctor Who universe Wiki's To Do List.

Article specific

• Orphaned pages - These are articles that have no articles that link to them, they need to have a different article edited to include a link to these 'orphaned pages', to check if they have any links to them use the 'What links here' link. This can mean re-writing another page to include a relevant link or just wikilinking content in an article to link to the orphaned page.

• Uncategorized pages - These are articles that have been created and a category not assigned to them. These require the correct and specific category or categories to be assigned to them.

• Category:Maintenance lists - This category contains lists concerning un-written characters that appear in novels, these lists should be altered when a character article is created.

• Wanted pages - This is a list generated by the wiki of the articles that ware wanted or red linked. They are listed by links to the page, and listed by the page with the most links to it to the page with the least.

• Proposed mergers - This category contains articles that have been tagged with the Merge template, these articles have information that has been identified by editors as being duplicated on another article or two articles that have similar information and need merging. While the merging of articles must be done by an admin, a discussion by editors may be required for or against the merger.

Collected in categories

Stubs

Several articles are classified as stubs, many articles have media or style specific stubs attached to them. The stub templates place them within a category, these articles need much more information in order for them to have the stub tag removed.

• Category:Stub - This has both in and out of universe articles and has stub articles that do not fit into the below sub-categories.

In-universe

• Category:Astronomical object Stub - This relates to any astronomical objects (planets, moons, galaxies etc)
• Category:Character Stub - This relates to any character.
• Category:Species Stub - This relates to any species or race.

Out of universe

• Category:Audio Stub - This relates to any audio story, such as those produced by Big Finish Productions, AudioGo or BBV Productions.
• Category:Comic Stub - This relates to any comic strip story, such as those (but not limited to) those published in the Doctor Who Magazine.
• Category:Prose Stub - This relates to any piece of prose (or writing) such as novels and short fiction.
• Category:Real World Stub - This relates to any real world article such as those dealing with real people.
• Category:TV Stub - This relates to any TV article such as those relating to Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures (though not limited to these three).

Other category collections

• Category:Articles in need of major additions - Articles collected in this category require major revisions, either because of grossly inadequate information, incorrect format or use of templates, or junk edits or vandalism. When making necessary revisions, please remember to remove the article's maintenance tag and category link to this page before clicking "Save Changes." (Depending on the level of the edit and the information removed you may wish to add a relevant stub to the article)

• Category:Out of Universe cleanup - These articles have been marked with a {{Oou}} tag, these in-universe articles have been marked as having large amounts of out of universe information requiring integrating into the article or removing.

• Category:Articles needing citation - These articles have had the Template:Fact or Template:Facts template added to some part of the information on the article. This denotes these articles are missing sources for key points of information. These articles can be both in-universe and out-of-universe articles.
