In 1887, the papal train of Pope Leo XIII intercepted the Orient Express, on which Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson were traveling through Austria.
He asked Holmes to investigate the theft of certain books from the Library of St John the Beheaded in London. Holmes accepted the assignment. (NA: All-Consuming Fire)
