George was a cameraman for Planet 3, working with news reporter Francis Currie during the worldwide outbreak of an alien virus.
George recorded an episode in an alley where UNIT soldiers were gunning down plague victims, while Currie was narrating. Hustling the footage back to Planet 3 for safekeeping, George was assaulted by ICIS troops who grabbed the tape and immediately broadcast it, marking UNIT as outlaws. Currie and George then recorded UNIT's escape, exoneration, and release of the cure for the virus. (BFU: The Wasting)
