The Stenk 11 pistol was a type of Sontaran weaponry. They were short and brutal, capable of causing great amounts of damage. Torchwood Three had a Stenk 11 pistol, which Jack Harkness debated using against the assassins from Hokrala Corp. (TWN: The Undertaker's Gift)
Presumably, the weapon was named after a famous Sontaran called "Stenk."
