Mr Brooke was the father of Adelaide Brooke. During the War in the Medusa Cascade. After sheltering her in their house, he told Adelaide to stay inside, as he went out looking for her mother. After departing a Dalek appeared outside the window. Once it saw Adelaide though, it flew away as if it killed her it would destroy time.
