Thomas Dodd was a less than savoury citizen of the planet Mondas, who lived at time when the planet had seperated from the solar system and was heading towards the dangerous Cherrybowl Nebula. He described himself as the "Purveyor and Fitter of Necessary Body Parts", where he deals in seling proper body parts, and not the new articificial organs that were created by the Mondasian Committee.

Upon meeting the Fifth Doctor, Thomas planned to lynch the Doctor's body parts to his seling merchandise, noting the Doctor's health and that the stranger had no identity papers. He was later converted into one of the newly improved Cybermen. (BFA: Spare Parts)
