As much as I like the new skin/layout, there is a couple of things that bug me. They are: The activity box, search bar and the new 'latest pictures' thing being to the right hand side of the article and when scrolling down the article, it looks bad as there is a big block of white space at the right hand side of article. Can the search box, activity box and the pictures not be put where they were before the new skin? Mini-mitch 12:37, October 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Nup. Check out Wikia Community Central - The new look.
- Basically the width of the wiki is fixed, those things are fixed. I do hope that as they roll out the new skin totally that things will filter through and become more editable, but for now, no. --Tangerineduel 13:51, October 15, 2010 (UTC)
- That's my issue as well. Under Monaco there is very little wasted space and the text area dynamically resizes based on the window/monitor width. Under the new skin there is both the background gutter and the additional white gutter on the right hand side of the article section leaving the infobox near the middle of the page. It kills me that as monitors have gotten wider, this skin responds by filling up that extra real estate with a pretty background rather than useful information. --Raukodraug 21:40, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
