Race memory

An ancestral memory was a memory present at birth that was incorporated into a species' genome over time. Turlough went into shock after seeing Tractators as they awakened an ancestral memory within him. This allowed him to remember how the Trions had previously defeated the Tractators by seperating them from the Gravis. (DW: Frontios)

Humans sometimes had an ancestral fear of Silurians, causing mental breakdowns. (DW: Doctor Who and the Silurians)
