Oil Core is a company which specializes in oil. Since Earth has been draind of oil since the 40th century, Oil Core now bases itself on the desert world of Boukon. They have moving Oil rigs to harvest the oil, but the pirates, like Captain Kaliko, keep bringing down the rigs and stealing the oil.
Oil Core have sent a spy, Swabb, onboard the Black Gold to kill Captain Kaliko and stop her reign of terror. The rigs attacked the pirate ship and it was destroyed, while Swabb fails to kill Kaliko. Baltazar does, looking for a data chip. (DW: The Infinite Quest)
