Niall MacGregor is a British actor whose principal role in the Doctor Who universe is that of Robert in the Simon Guerrier-penned Sara Kingdom Companion Chronicle trilogy. Thus he is the co-star of Home Truths, The Drowned World and The Guardian of the Solar System.
His television career ostensibly began in the mid 2000s. One of his first jobs on television was in the miniseries To the Ends of the Earth with Benedict Cumberbatch. In the same year, he guested on Monarch of the Glen, featuring Tom Baker. He also guested on 2007's Party Animals starring Matt Smith.
