Kit Pedler (Dr Christopher Magnus Howard Pedler) (3rd June 1927-27th May 1981) was a medical scientist, science writer and science fiction writer.

He was brought into Doctor Who in the mid 1960s by Innes Lloyd to bring some 'hard science' into the show.

He is perhaps best known for co-creating the Cybermen with Gerry Davis.

Kit Pedler and Gerry Davis also created and wrote Doomwatch.
