South Croydon was a suburb of London that was the home of Sarah Jane Smith and her aunt Lavinia during the time she travelled with the Doctor. It was the place where Sarah Jane Smith asked the Fourth Doctor to return her to when he took her home to Earth. (DW: The Hand of Fear) However, he actually took her to Aberdeen, Scotland.
