Talk to an expert in military engineering some time and ask about the evolution of World War Two ordinance in Great Britain and watch 'em turn beet red. Now, how does this apply to the Time Cracks? Explain, if you will, how Amy Pond could be when both her parents never existed? You can't? Neither can I. But it works. My advice is to stop worrying and just enjoy the paradoxes.
