Around 5000 BC, the Osirians visited Egypt during their battle with Sutekh and were worshipped as gods. (DW: Pyramids of Mars) One Osirian, Thoueris, attempted to capitalise on this by demanding tributes from the natives, and feeding those who did not comply to crocodiles.
