Stuart Owens was a chief operating officer at PhiCorp. In 2011, he was having an extramarital affair with an administrative assistant, Janet Tanner. He attempted to learn what PhiCorp's involvement with the miracle was, but was unsuccessful. While he was at a restuarant with his wife, Jack Harkness arrived and informed him that he had kidnapped Janet. Stuart explained to Jack that he knew nothing of the miracle, other than the fact that something called The Blessing was involved. (TW: The Middle Men)
