James Marsters (born 20th August 1962) in an American actor who played John Hart in the Torchwood episodes Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, Fragments and Exit Wounds.
Marsters' is best known for his performances as the vampire Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off, Angel. His character had even used the alias "The Doctor" in the Season 6 episode As You Were of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, though his actions bore no similiarities to the namesake.
