:Look at 1980s, we don't have a listing for everytime the 80s were mentioned by the Doctor, companion or otherwise. --Tangerineduel / talk 17:11, September 3, 2011 (UTC) |

Deletion
The reason for this proposed deletion defies much of this wiki's content. If a direct reference to the year leaves it undeserved of a page, a fair few of this wiki's pages are also guilty. Where exactly is there a policy stating the Doctor's opinion is required for the creation of a page?--Skittles the hog - talk 18:12, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
- I didn't mean it like that, I was just using that as an example. I just thought that "the TARDIS missing a year" isn't based on anything which actually happened in 1880 in the timestream. Sorry if I offended. -- Tybort (talk page) 18:19, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
It's okay, I wasn't offended, just... puzzled. Do you still stand by your proposal? If it's referenced, it's deserving of a page; at least in my (humble) opinion.--Skittles the hog - talk 18:25, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
- More or less, though maybe I should word it better. -- Tybort (talk page) 18:55, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
- I don't think the information needs to be here. I agree with Tybort's reasoning.
- The year pages are "Stuff happened in this year". The Doctor aimed for, but missed this year so the information would be better placed on Hove, or the Doctor's page, stating he aimed for this year.
- But nothing (thus far) actually happened in 1880. --Tangerineduel / talk 17:04, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
I'm not so sure. I don't see why a year page shouldn't have references, even if they don't refer to an event. Is there a specific reason behind this?--Skittles the hog - talk 17:08, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
- Nothing actually happened in this year.
- Look at 1980s, we don't have a listing for everytime the 80s were mentioned by the Doctor, companion or otherwise. --Tangerineduel / talk 17:11, September 3, 2011 (UTC)
