Ron Plath was the writer of the Brief Encounter story Time, Love and TARDIS. He was also one of the illustrators who worked on the charity anthology Missing Pieces and was among the long list of people that Jim Mortimore wrote that he owed at the beginning of the novel Eye of Heaven.
