Kimus was a native of the planet Zanak and a friend of Pralix and Mula. He aided the Fourth Doctor by taking him to the Captain's bridge so he could free Romana, and was also present when the Doctor revealed the truth about Zanak's mineral wealth; Zanak hollowed out entire other worlds to support itself.
