Wyatt Earp was the Marshal of Tombstone, Arizona.
He and his friend Doc Holliday had several conflicts with Ike Clanton and his brothers. He took part in the gunfight at the O.K. Corral, which he and Holliday won. (DW: The Gunfighters) He later met Amy Pond and Rory Williams, who described him as 'not a nice guy'. He attempted to shoot Rory. (REF: The Brilliant Book 2012)
This evidence seems to somewhat contradict that given in The Gunfighters.
