The '''Lake Monster''' was a tentacled creature created as a biproduct of the [[Thousand Year War]] on [[Skaro]]. It lay deep inside the [[Lake of Mutations]]. [[Ian Chesterton]] compared it to a jellyfish and found that its cells were extremely mutated. The [[First Doctor]] theorized that it must have started as a small mollusk but in time turned into a monster. It had low intelligence but had the ability to blend in to its surroundings. The Lake Monster was a tentacled creature created as a biproduct of the Thousand Year War on Skaro. It lay deep inside the Lake of Mutations. Ian Chesterton compared it to a jellyfish and found that its cells were extremely mutated. The First Doctor theorised that it must have started as a small mollusk but in time turned into a monster.
