Buenos Aires was the capital city of Argentina. Rex Matheson and Esther Drummond went there to investigate the Miracle Day phenomenon. (TW: The Gathering) They had already discovered that the Blessing was located through the Earth from Buenos Aires to Shanghai, its antipode.
