Croxton Hall was one of England’s grandest stately houses, built in 1862 and home to Lord and Lady Tubbs. The ground floor contained collections of both suits of armour and Lord Tubb’s impressive collection of clocks which included an Ancient Horologe (a wedding gift from the Tenth Doctor).
