Corporal Bell was a UNIT corporal. She was a member of the Brigadier's personal support staff during the Keller Machine Affair (The Mind of Evil) and the Axonite Manoeuvre (The Claws of Axos). She seemed to be on good terms with Jo Grant, and had a fondness for telling dirty jokes (DEC2: Where the Heart Is). She was blackmailed by survivors of the 'Inferno' dimension into betraying UNIT when her brother was kidnapped (PD: Face of the Enemy). However, there seemed to be longterm consequences of her actions, as she was eventually promoted to sergeant (MA: Speed of Flight). At some point after leaving UNIT she was in a car accident that left her with brain damage. (NA: The Left-Handed Hummingbird)
