The UK-201 was a human spacecraft which operated in the 25th century. Whilst carrying Vicki, Bennett, and other passengers to the planet Astra, it crash-landed on Dido.
Vicki stayed within the ship, using its radio to send out distress signals. Bennett ventured out and took on the alias of Koquillion and disguised himself in ceremonial Didonian dress. He occasionally visited the ship in this dress to confront Vicki and convince her that Bennett was keeping her safe. Bennett rigged the door to his room in the craft so that it played a recording of his voice when opened.
After the First Doctor, Ian Chesterton, and Barbara Wright landed on Dido, they visited the ship and befriended Vicki. When the Didonians seemingly killed Bennett, they took Vicki away with them in The TARDIS, leaving UK-201 empty.
As Ian noted when he first caught sight of its remains, it bore a Union Flag on its hull. This indicated that the United Kingdom, in some form, still existed at least as late as 2493, the year it set out on its doomed voyage to Astra. (DW: The Rescue)
