Is it? Because The Midnight Entity was an External Unknown Force Capable of Penetrating Things Without damage! It Had No Voice Before Possessing Sky So When Around it You Would Hear Nothing But Silence. It Had a Grudge against the Doctor and Would Probably Want to Gain Revenge... And What Revenge is Better than Blowing Up the TARDIS and Causing Total Event Collapse. So What do you think?Liamhenney 11:19, August 11, 2010 (UTC)

You know, it's very possible. The only thoery that makes any sense, with the exception that it's (most likely) something new. But if it were anything seen before, it would only make sense to be the mysterious being who had no voice and no corperal form. They're very similar entities, from what we know.

But I'm going to say it's probably something new. Bt this is a great side-thoery or alternate thoery that doesn't really have any fanwank cravings (a disease of unoriginality in Doctor Who thoorsing -- in my opinion), and no contradictions or errors. I would hope it's true, simply because the Midight entity was a great idea, and I always wondered if, as if was already non-corperal, it was still out there. How is that in any way not "fan wanking"? They will not bring back some random enemy who was in 1 episode. Silence obviously means it causes silence, not that it sometimes is silent. An D it wouldnt have anything against the doc because he didn't stop it. It

Delton Menace, you are the biggest perpetrator of fanwanking I've ever seen, so don't you dare make a statement like that.207.6.71.206 06:47, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

By fanwank, I refer to those who constatly insist - every single year - that if there is an enemy, it must be an enemy from the classic series, any in paticular that has been featured a number of times. Now, THAT is true fanwanking.

And, since you seem to dumb to get the point through you thick skull, I said t would be the only thing that makes any remote sense at all if it were something that had been seen before, in thoery. But that I doubt it is anything ever seen before. Idiot. Fanwankers are those who will say the same thig every single year, insiting a recurring classic villain will return.

The Rani = insitsted every year since 2005, people still insist it. The same applies to people refusing to give in that Omega is NOT returing. They thought it for series 5, didn't happen. So now they think it's for series 6, won't happen. Fanwanking at its more annoying. They only believe that becase of stupid rumours, which makes it all the more worser.

The most likely case is that the "big bad" is something new, knwing Steven Moffat. But, people will still insit it's Omega/The Monk/The Rani, as is the case every single year since 2005.Delton Menace 09:27, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

How is insisting that its Omega any different from insisting that its Midnight or The Beast. The only difference is that Omega is from the classic series. And, the reason people assume that the big bad is something from the classic series is probably becouse it is always something from the classic series. First it was the daleks, than the daleks and the cybermen, then the master, then Davros and the Daleks, then the Master and the Time Lords, and most recently something that we don't know what it is. It has never been a random villain who appeared in 1 random episode and has never been mentioned again. Based on the pattern of the past 5 finales, it will almost definetly be something from the classic series.Icecreamdif 18:20, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

Tha was under Russel T. Davies, who is often known for bring old enemies back. There is ittle to not Steven Moffat story featuring anything from th classic series other than oe surviving Dalek that played a small role in th series 5 finale. His enemy is called The Silence, and it is literally silence. It's something new. Delton Menace 18:43, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

But how is the silence more likely to be the midnight entity than Omega, or something from the classic series. The silence might be something new, or it might be something that has been seen before. Since there is no way to know what the silence is until, presumably, the series 6 finale, you shouldn't call all theories that make any sense "fan wanking." This theory makes about as much sense as the theories that it is Omega, or something from the classic series. It actually makes less sense. Omega might come back, because he was in more than 1 episode, and in-universe, he is 1 of the most important timelords in history. It is definately not the midnight entity.Icecreamdif 19:01, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

No, I am confident the midnight entity will not be the silence. I also very much doubt we'll even find out what the entity is to be honest. I think the silence will either be classic or something we havn't seen (probably classic though). Lu-igi board
