Simon Taylor was the visual effects designer on the Doctor Who serial Paradise Towers.

He and John Brace designed the effects on the unaired pilot of Richard Curtis and Rowan Atkinson's The Black Adder, but both were effectively replaced by Chris Lawson when the project went to series.
