The Art of Doctor Who, under-titled "Script to Screen exhibition" was some what different exhibition to previous exhibitions, in that it focused on the behind the scenes elements more than just displaying the props from the series.

Overview

Featuring several pieces of concept art as well as many props, some of which had featured in previous exhibits. This was however the first exhibition to focus primarily on the production element of the series. With not just the props/costumes but significant amounts of information regarding how the props were constructed and the concept/planning process.

Notable elements

Promotion

  • To mark the extension of the exhibition in February 2009 visitors were entered into a competition to win a Cybershade head.[10]

Notes

  • The exhibition was designed by Experience Design.[11]
