Mark Chambers was a man who was "saved" by Charlotte Lux in the 50th century to prevent him and 4021 other people from being consumed by the Vashta Nerada. His face appeared on a Node. The Node replied to Donna Noble's inquiry about the face, stating that "This flesh aspect was donated by Mark Chmabers on the occasion of his death" , which terrified Donna who realised that the face on the node is a real face.
