A Host body is a body used/infected/possesed by another creature, who sometimes had no body of its own.
Host bodies
- Lady Cassandra used several bodies as hosts, including Rose's and the Doctor's when she left her own body. (DW. New Earth)
- The Gorgon had used the Abess as a host body for a long time, and needed a new one. (SJA: Eye of the Gorgon)
- The Sex gas possesed the body of Carys Fletcher. (TW: Day One)
