Barabara, also known as Blood Bugs, were savage, six-legged, Cybermat-like creatures about thirty centimeters long which fed on blood, carrion insect creatures living on dead flesh. They were native to the swamps on Zom, and bred by Big Hate for an attack on the Moderators. Adrenalin was poison to them. When they entered the City, the emotionless Zom people were an easy feast, offering no resistance. (DWM: City of the Damned)
