Gastronauts were a race of beingswho lived to eat. They existed only to feed the next version of themselves growing inside. Once fully gorged, they burst their skins and a new one emerged. They sought out new delicacies wherever they could find them. New finds attracted them in great numbers and they were known to strip planets.
