Jeremy Bentham was associate editor of the Doctor Who Magazine. He wrote the reference book Doctor Who: The Early Years and contributed to Doctor Who: A Celebration by Peter Haining.

He was also co-founder of the British Doctor Who Appreciation Society, founded in May 1976.
