Elric Penley was a scientist working at Brittanicus Base in 5000. He strongly disagreed with Clent's over-reliance on computers, and left the base to become a scavenger with Storr. He helped the Second Doctor defeat the Ice Warriors, and reconciled with Clent. (DW: The Ice Warriors)
