Alexander Siddig, sometimes credited as Siddig El Fadil (born 21 November 1965), is a Sudanese-born English actor. He voiced the character of Rosto in two consecutive Big Finish Productions audio dramas, Sisters of the Flame and The Vengeance of Morbius, both part of the New Eighth Doctor Adventures.

Siddig is also one of few actors who have appeard in both Doctor Who and Star Trek productions, as he is best known for portraying Dr. Julian Bashir in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. One of the first DS9 episodes to focus on the character of Bashir, Melora, paired Sidding with guest star Daphne Ashbrook, who also appeared opposite the Eighth Doctor when she played Grace Holloway in the 1996 TV Movie. More recently, Siddig has appeared in 24, Primeval, and the BBC Wales-produced series Merlin.

Siddig was also married to, and had a child with his Deep Space Nine co-star, Torchwood guest star Nana Visitor.
