Brox was a space traveller who spent a hundred years in his spaceship, the Warm Welcome, seeking out new alien life. Unfortunately, he was travelling around the least populated area, the outer-rim of the universe. After all the travelling the engines on his spaceship began to wear out, leaving mini-wormholes which reached to the other side of the universe. The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond travelled through the wormholes to find Brox, being the first aliens he met.
