Charles Jeanes was the visual effects designer for Vengeance on Varos. His first job ever may have been as an uncredited visual effects assistant on Full Circle, though this is difficult to prove with certainty.

He didn't have much of a career outside the mid-1980s. His other major work was on the groundbreaking documentary, The Day the Universe Changed, which, like Varos, was from 1985. He had also joined with Peter Wragg for a memorable 1982 Play for Today called Another Flip for Dominick, which involved time travel and featured Michael Gough, Ysanne Churchman and Sylvia Coleridge.
