Richard Todd (11 June 1919-3 December 2009) played Sanders in DW: Kinda. Todd was a distinguished British character actor, receiving an Oscar nomination for his performance in the 1949 film The Hasty Heart. He also appeared alongside William Hartnell in the film The Yangtse Incident.

Todd was well known for his work in war dramas such as The Dambusters and The Longest Day as well and for playing Robin Hood and Rob Roy for Walt Disney. He became an OBE in 1993.
