Salostopus, or Salostophus, was a planet located in the constellation of Andromeda. It was the homeworld of Sabalom Glitz and Dibber and may have been the homeworld of Drathro and the sleepers as well. Salostophus may have had a polygamous society. (DW: The Mysterious Planet)

The original written form of this name was in DWN: The Mysterious Planet. There, it was given as Salostopus. Subsequent novels, like Alien Bodies and Placebo Effect, mentioned it as Salostophus.
