The World Shapers was the second of two graphic novels collecting the Sixth Doctor's run in Doctor Who Magazine. It was published in 2008. Unlike other reprints, such as those in IDW's Doctor Who Classics — featured pristine digital restoration of the original monochromatic art.
It was notable as the final volume of Panini Publishing's reprint of "classic" Doctors' comic strips. Following this volume, the remaining output from Panini in this line would be for BBC Wales incarnations of the Doctor.

- This is the second of two collections featuring the run of Sixth Doctor stories from the pages of Doctor Who Magazine. It contains one hundred eighty-six high quality black and white printed pages and a new cover by Mike Collins and is priced at £15.99 (UK).
- IDW 's reprints of the Classic comic strips from Doctor Who Magazine have yet to include any of the strips in this graphic novel. After the story arc of 'Kane's Story ', 'Abel's Story ', 'The Warrior's Story ' and 'Frobisher's Story ', the next available issue begins with 'A Cold Day in Hell ' - the first Seventh Doctor strip. IDW did reprint 'Changes ' and 'The World Shapers ' in the 'Grant Morrison's Doctor Who ' mini series.
