The Alphans were a species of humanoids from Thoros-Alpha. They were genetically incompatible with the amphibian Mentors of Thoros-Beta in terms of tissue transplants.
The Alphans resembled black-haired (straight or kinky) humans with skin complexions ranging from medium-brown to near-black.
Many Alphans were taken from Thoros-Alpha by the Mentors, for use as menial labour and experiments. These slaves were kept in special storage facilities when they were not being used.
