| ==Erection. Fine thing, but...==
| | I am trying to figure out why someone felt the need to add the following: |

|
| Sorry, but does "Erection" on this page have to be given a [[]]? Is somebody going to make a page on the Tardis wiki or something? If so, WTF? -- Grunty 2.0, 01:02, 4 April 2008

| | Is it really THAT relevant to the whole biography of Owen or not? Thoughts please! |

|
| ::No, erection technically shouldn't have a wikilink around it. I've removed it, unless someone can cite at least one more instance that would mean it needed a page of its own. If it needed referencing it would go in the human page or human biology or something. --Tangerineduel 12:35, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

| == "reactor went critical" ==
| |
| | |
| Just as coal catching fire is part of the normal operation of a steam engine, nuclear fuel going critical is part of the natural operation of a nuclear reactor. I believe the text in this article (and perhaps in the original script) meant to say "meltdown". This is a common mistake in dramas featuring nuclear power.

| ==LGBT individual==
| |
| In the first episode of Torchwood, Owen "snogs" another man and seems keen on spending a night with him and a woman. As far as I'm aware, there are no other direct indications of Owen's possible bisexuality and he focuses on women for the rest of the series. Could/should he be categorized as an "LGBT individual" due to this occurrence? Colin is categorized as such, even though the cologne may have drastically changed his behavior in the ep.--99.29.140.149 19:07, March 31, 2011 (UTC)
| |
| :No. Owen used the cologne merely to avoid a fight with Colin. He is in no way gay as shown by the way he jests at Jack's homosexuality.----Skittles the hog--<small>Talk</small> 19:26, March 31, 2011 (UTC)
| |
| Well he's obviously not gay (I didn't and wouldn't suggest that). But he still seems more than willing to spend the night in Colin and Linda's company and happily orders a taxi for the three of them. The kiss between Colin and Owen was the first LGBT scene in Torchwood and arguably first major LGBT scene in the Doctor Who franchise.
| |
| Owen, AFAIK, shows no other indications of bisexuality during his time on the show, so this one-off scene from the first episode was probably when the writers and actor were still getting to know the character and all the details weren't made out yet (like the fate of Ianto Jones post-Cyberwoman). If we can't have a LGBT tag here, it should definitely be removed from Colin's page, since he only showed male attraction when he smelled the alien cologne.--99.29.140.149 05:31, April 1, 2011 (UTC)

| ==Who is Liz?== | |
| Who the hell's Lizzie Lewis? I can't find that character anywhere on this wiki! TroopDude
| |
| | |
| Lizzie Lewis was a character in the Torchwood episode Ghost Machine. She was seen in Owen's vision of a murder in 1963, where she was raped and murdered under a bridge. Owen took it upon himself to bring the killer to justice. Thedarkestvillain talk to me 22:15, October 31, 2011 (UTC)

| == Twenty seven at time of death? ==
| |
| | |
| 1980 - 2009 is 29. So, if in Dead Man Walking it says he was 27, shouldn't the first bit say he was born in 1982?
| |
| Or did it say he was born in 1980 and someone made a mistake by putting 27?
