{{DYK}} does the same thing as {{Doctor Who Wiki/DYK}}, but it's not really used anywhere. It's something you could just put on your own user page if you think it's cool.

It exists mainly to provide organisational focus to all the templates that fuel {{Doctor Who Wiki/DYK}}.

The "guts" of the DYK system are actually on five subpages:

  • {{DYK/bts}} — for behind the scenes facts
  • {{DYK/chars}} — for facts about non-starring characters
  • {{DYK/objects}} — for facts about a wide variety of things
  • {{DYK/leads}} — for facts about leading characters
  • {{DYK/species}} — for facts about species
