The AVENGERS episode THE HOUR THAT NEVER WAS prominently featured a milk truck in much the same way as it has in this episode with the bottles suddenly beginning to shake. Steed encountered it several times throughout the episode. Maybe the scene in the beginning of THE STOLEN EARTH is a deliberate reference to this show. What do you think?
